He lived in Wilmington, Calif. in 1950 living in the Pepper Tree Auto Court. As per an article in the Daily Breeze Monday March 28, 2005. he owned a bar in Wilminton, Calif in 1950 but they did not give the name. We knew about the bar but we cannot remember the name. It was Sportsbar or Sportsman. We visited him there. He lived on Denni Street right down the street from where I lived. Can anyone give info. on the name of the bar and verify (maybe 1950 census) that he did live in Wilmington, Calif. He died in Lomita, Calif. 1953 I have been researching Jim Thorpe.
