Disney’s “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” was intended to be heartwarming family fare, but if this video (contains spoilers) is any indicator, you should only take your kids if you want them to sob inconsolably afterward and then never talk to you again.
At this point Samuel L. Jackson’s presence is like a vital seasoning, it lends a certain familiar spice to almost any movie. Like bay leaf, only with more F-bombs! The prolific supporting actor’s next gig will be Spike Lee’s adaptation of the South Korean film “Oldboy.” No, it’s not a movie about progeria — it’s a noir-ish thriller about a man searching for the identity of the person(s) responsible for keeping him captive for fifteen years.
Now that we’ve satisfied our cravings for The Avengers, Batman, and Spider-Man, it’s going to be all Bond hype, all the time (or until November 9, at least).
