Whatever Angelina wants, Angelina gets ... and right now, what she wants is Joel and Ethan Coen to write the script for her next directorial project, a biopic named "Unbroken" about the life of famed athlete turned WWII soldier Louis Zamperini. Sounds like Jolie is still chasing the sort of heavy-hitting rainbows she sought with 2011's "In the Land of Blood and Honey."
Bad news in Philly this week: A local drag celebrity named Martha Graham Crackers was invited to read to kids at an after-school program (she performs regularly at one of the city's museums), only to be barred by school administrators and told that it would be "inappropriate." So, what exactly would be inappropriate about it? Sounds to me like everyone loses here, especially the kids.
The New York Times ran a great article about David Lynch this weekend revealing that the director is working on a new film! While he's mostly intent on singing the praises of his Transcendental Meditation practice, it sounds like he's still got a trick or two left in the old braincase that movie audiences have yet to see.
