Wunschpunsch (French: Wounchpounch, German: Der Wunschpunsch lit. "Wish Punch") is a children's animated series based on the 1989 German novel The Night of Wishes by Michael Ende. The series is a co-production between Saban International Paris, CinéGroupe and TF1, with the participation of Ventura Film Distributors B.V. and ARD/Degeto, and with the collaboration of Radio-Canada. The series centres on two animals, a cat named Mauricio and a raven named Jacob, as they stop the wicked and crazy spells created by their owners, Bubonic and Tyrannia.
