It was first published in the United Kingdom by HarperCollins in 2017. The novel retells L. Frank Baum's 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz through the eyes of Dorothy's dog Toto. The book was to be adapted into an animated musical feature film with Alex Timbers directing the project.
